After an account is created you will receive a username, a password, an api key, and a game ID.
The password is necessary to access your ldrboard admin panel and can be reset or recovered. The API Key is a secret that is needed to make any sensitive reads or writes to your ldrboard. In the future we will have session tokens to minimize the risks of leaking API Keys.

To receive an account at the moment, you will need to Schedule a call with ldrboard.com.

You can change your password in your admin panel.

Visit https://admin-<your-game-endpoint-name>.ldrboard.com and login with your username and password to access your ldrboard.com panel.

You can change your API Key in your admin panel.

You can create pretty much any type of ldrboard you can imagine. We are at an early stage so are still custom building a lot of features that are specific to individual games. To get a better idea of what you can build you can checkout the ldrboard showcase in the home page and see what others have built.

ldrboard.com supports all game engines capable of making HTTP(s) requests.
Engines that support HTTP(s) include:
- Unity Engine
- Unreal Engine
- Godot Engine
- GDevelop
- Construct 3
- Roblox Studio
- GameMaker & GameMaker 2

Most popular game engines support HTTP(s) request. If you are unsure if the engine you are using supports HTTP(s) requests, you can contact us through Discord and we can figure out if your game engine is capable of integrating with ldrboard.com.

Scores & stats can be submitted in 2 ways:
- Via HTTP(s) through code to an endpoint tied to your game's ldrboard
- Manual Submissions upon request

At the moment we are manually customizing each ldrboard according to your stated preferences/mockups but in the near future we will have a leaderboard editor where you can customize your game's ldrboard down to the CSS.

We have a couple security measures to help detect and handle fraudulent/cheaters.

For cheat detection the options you have through ldrboard.com are any combination of the following:
- Server side automatic auditing rules (define a set of rules that get checked against for each entry like score > 9999 for ex.).
- Moderation queues
- Request Rate Limits

For cheat handling (how you can deal with players who have cheated)
- Email Notifications
- Account ban from ldrboard
- IP ban from ldrboard
- Shadow IP ban from ldrboard

For enterprise users we also allow for hiring dedicated moderators.

*Note: ldrboard.com is not an anticheat. We simply help inhibit fraudulent scores from being posted on your leaderboards. Although no solution is perfect we still think ldrboard.com gives you the best shot of keeping cheaters from taking spots on your leaderboards. ldrboard.com employs a host of security measures to keep your data safe at rest and in transmission. Here is a sample of some of the things we do:
- Enforce HTTP(s) on all requests into our system
- Hash all secrets on our backend
- Monitor suspicious failed attempts to use your credentials

We only act as a datastore for all entries provided. We do not sell or distribute it in any way. You can export and/or delete all your ldrboard data at any time at the click of a button in your ldrboard admin panel.
